The Spice of Sheik are the advanced dancers and performance group from Sheik to Sheik. They are choreographed and taught by Dawn White, a beautiful and passionate dancer who has trained and lived in various parts of the world and in various authentic styles of dance.
Amy Warne is the tribal dance representative at the Sheik. She heads up and teaches the Tribalive students and dance troupe, and is an amazing dancer. She also is the environmental advisor at Sheik to Sheik.
Tara of Sheba, descendant of a Lebanese princess, has been dancing all her life; she has a very earthy and beautiful belly dancing style. Tara has trained with Eva and Dawn White in Australia, and holds certification from the legacy of Suhaila Salimpour in California (her home state). She currently teaches at Sheik to Sheik, and performs at various restaurants, events, and parties in Western Australia. Tara has been seen on Czechoslavakian TV and Postcards WA, as well as many other major events in Perth.
Phynia is a beautiful and poised dancer, and one of the best bellydancers in the country. She has been training in bellydance since she was a young girl, starting out with Keti. She has since recieved training from the beautiful Eva, and most currently studies with Dawn White at Sheik to Sheik. She has performed and instructed in Australia and Singapore; and has performed for Harissa in Perth and for Jrisi and the Hathor Dance School in Sydney. She currently teaches at Sheik to Sheik and performs at various functions and restaurants, including the Istanbul in Fremantle.
Dawn White is a renowned and beautiful international performer and teacher. She has studied bellydance and other rigorous forms of dance in many countries, and graces Perth with her knowledge and movement. She performs with the Harissa troupe in Perth, and currently trains and choreographs the Spice of Sheik- the advanced and performance students at Sheik to Sheik. She is a fountain of beauty and grace, and a pleasure to both watch and learn from.
